Oh, My Dearest Apple Inc.

I am such an Apple enthusiast! From the first time I borrowed my mom’s G3 Apple laptop, I simply fell in love with Apple computers. From Mac OS 8.5 to Mac OS X to Mac OS Catalina, I truly have loved the evolution of the Apple computer. It all started when I came home from middle school and there it was, a brand-new blueberry iMac, just waiting for me to use. I would use the computer to learn Photoshop 4.0, use Claris Works, play games, listen to CDs or just mess around with the computer. I absolutely fell in love with it and five years later, I would move onto the G4, G5, various MacBook Pros and another iMac years later. My appreciation would especially grow even until recently. I currently have a 13” MacBook Pro laptop and it only has 8 gigabytes of RAM a 1.5 GB video card and only 256 gigabyte SSD hard drive. But the things I have put it through blows my mind! I have edited numerous videos on it. Color corrected and graded 4K and HD footage. Made soundscapes, music and other various audio recordings. Encoded various formats of video codecs. Even created intensive Adobe After Effects compositions and it’s still up and running. I’ve pushed the laptop past it’s limits yet it still runs super-fast just as if it were fresh out of the box! I was even afraid that it would die on me or fry on the inside, but it has yet to do so and this is only the base model. What I have come to realize is that Apple makes a solid and reliable product. People argue that Apple products are too expensive. But I’ve began to understand that, especially when it comes to their computers. You might buy one Apple computer that will last you 5-10 years or more. But in the same amount of time you will end up replacing your Windows PC computer 3-4 times over the same amount of time. As I have stated I have an iMac that’s already 10 years old and I’m still using it to edit videos, run After Effects, create music, use Photoshop, etc. and it still runs as fast as the day I bought it. I have never been disappointed by an Apple product. Heck! I’m even using a 5-year-old iPhone 6S and it still works just as fast as when I got it. I try to use competitor’s products such as Windows and Android, but it is all too cumbersome and difficult to do the simplest things. I get a headache when using their products. My whole life has revolved around Mac OS, it just seems very user friendly and a breeze to use. I love my Apple computers. They bring me so much joy into my life. Why do I despise Windows you may ask? Well, growing up, I got to use the ruthless versions of Windows. From Windows 92 to Windows ME 2000 to Windows XP even Windows Vista. They all turned out to be terrible products. The computers were slow, they would crash all the time and the user interface was bland and unappealing. Every time I used a Windows PC I just had a bad experience. My skepticism towards a Windows PC leaves me not trusting or wanting to use their products. But given the current lineup of Apple computers I can say that I am optimistic for its future. I simply love using the operating system on all Apple products and their computers! The appealing UI coupled with the power house it brings leaves me in awe and amazement. Apple Inc. has been essential in my life. Don’t even get me started on their iPods. I’ve owned every last one of them. My experience with Apple predates the gaudy conventions that everyone has grown accustomed to every quarter of the year. I see people with Apple stickers on the back of their cars, but I’ve come to realize that they’re just fan boys and posers. I have been with Apple since its inception. I am a die-hard Apple fan. They are always innovating and moving the ball forward. I love Apple Inc. they have been a vital part of my creative life. Thank you, Apple and the countless people who strive for innovation, when it comes to your products. Apple will always have a near and dear place in my heart. I always look forward to turning on my Apple computers, rolling up my sleeves and getting to work! Man, I love Apple and all that their computers have taught me over the years. They have made me the person I am today and have been an instrumental part of my life. I cannot stress this enough. Thank you, Apple Inc., and all you do.

P.D.

Brought to you by an Apple computer!

Rest In Peace:

Steve Jobs
